Executive Management’s public wager

With offices located in Seattle and Boston, cities with Football teams who are anything but quiet, it’s hard not to have a little friendly competition amongst coworkers every year. If you follow football at all you know that over the past four years, the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots have been two of the top dogs in the sport. So as you can imagine, when the two faced off in Super Bowl XLIX in 2015, our Boston and Seattle offices were animated at the thought of the rivalry, taking to social media and email to “smack talk” their coworkers from coast to coast. To sweeten the Super Bowl Victory, President Glenn Bowers and Vice President Karl Pessinis made a public wager that whichever team lost between the two, the losing president had to proudly fly the winning team’s flag in their office for one week. Well, we all know how that Super Bowl ended, and as if that loss to the Patriots were not devastating enough, it was like salt in the wound when Glenn had to stare at the Patriot’s flag in his office for the entire week after the Super Bowl.
