ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Dunking executives in the name of ALS

In 2014 Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) awareness and the Ice Bucket Challenge became a global social media phenomenon. Millions of people around the world uploaded videos of themselves and their family members participating in the ice bucket challenge. The goal of the Ice Bucket Challenge is to help raise awareness and funds towards finding a cure for ALS. For one iSoftStone employee, Director Jason Moore ALS was a daily struggle, as his father was diagnosed with the progressive disease. Jason participated in the walk for ALS and challenged iSoftStone directors and employees to join him in the fight by donating and raising awareness through participating challenge. And as any family would do, iSoftStone got behind the cause and went above and beyond. Check out the Ice Bucket Challenge you don’t want to miss (And just to give you a hint: We dunked our entire leadership team, and made it into an employee relay race, in hot dog suits). You’re probably wondering if the hot dog suits are even relevant. Well they’re not, but they make for one interesting story!
